It’s been a while…time for another giveaway!  You could win a pair of tickets to an upcoming performance of Mark Twain’s Life on the Mississippi at Coterie Theatre in the Crown Center Shops!

This is a world premiere musical based on Samuel Clemens’ memoir of the same name.  It’s not Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer, but an autobiography-type production geared toward middle-school aged kids and older.  It runs through February 28, 2010.

Here’s what you need to do:  Visit us on FACEBOOK and leave a comment.  Unlike our other ticket giveaways, there is a short window of time to act on this one–we are only accepting entries (comments) until 1:00 p.m. today!!!   And, while you’re at it on FACEBOOK, become a “Fan” of KC Kids Fun!

And, just in case you aren’t the lucky winner…there are some great opportunities to snag a great deal on performance tickets.  ”Target Saturdays” will get you one FREE ticket with a purchase, PLUS a copy of the book Life on the Mississippi (one per order).  Also, after each Friday night performance in February, you can enjoy a tour of the Steamboat set!

You’ll remember that the beloved Ingalls family sells their home, leaves the Big Woods of Wisconsin and heads west in their covered wagon.  They end up in Indian Territory, near Independence, KS.  The Coterie’s performance recounts the chapters of the book, Little House on the Prairie.
