
It’s that time again! 4th of July, Independence Day, Fireworks in Kansas City – 2011 style! I can’t believe that June is coming to a close…
Lots to do around the Kansas City metro this Fourth of July Weekend. The Royals are out of town again but you can catch several fireworks displays out at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, KS after the T-Bones play! They will have fireworks after June 30th game, the July 3rd game and the July 4th game.

- Mahaffie 19th Century Fireworks and Olathe Civic Band Concert – 6 p.m. – Join the Olathe Civic Band for a concert followed by 19th century fireworks by the Olathe Fire Department. Bring your lawn chairs, blanket and picnic dinner to enjoy this patriotic celebration. After the concert, enjoy a special 19th Century Baseball presentation. Fireworks will begin at dark.
