You’ll want to check out The RED Development Duck Derby at Brush Creek on the Country Club Plaza.  Sunday, June 29 is the date–from noon to 4:00 pm.  The Duck Derby provides an opportunity to raise funds for and awareness of Children’s TLC. CTLC, located at 31st and Main in KCMO, currently serves over 550 children with special developmental and healthcare needs in SEVEN area counties.  KCKidsFun is proud to count CTLC as one of our community partners.

You can adopt one or more of the 15,000 racing ducks!  In addition to the sheer spectacle of seeing all of those ducks in Brush Creek, there will be a Kids’ Zone featuring inflatables, games, a Wonderscope exhibit, face painting and entertainment.  There are some out-of-this-world prizes for the top finishing ducks…including a new Harley-Davidson Sportster and even a pair of diamond stud earrings!  Have some fun and support a great cause!
