It’s Preschool Enrollment Time in Kansas City– for Fall 2012

Posted January 31, 2012 10:17pm by Kiran

Preschool Directory - Kansas City metro

It’s that time of year…preschool enrollment time!  It’s hard to believe that it’s time to register your little ones for Fall 2012 preschool classes.  Many area preschools have already started the enrollment process for current families and will open up to the public within the next week.  Typically, priority enrollment is given to current families, church members, alumni and then the general public.

KC Kids Fun has compiled an extensive and very useful directory of preschools around the Kansas City metro area. We’ve got a separate list for each of the following areas:

If we’ve missed a good one (or if you find a broken link or closed facility amongst our list), please let us know in the comments section. Thanks for your help.  It takes a village to keep this updated and current!!

Good luck! We hope everyone finds a great preschool/parents day out program for their child!

KC Kids Fun provides its readers with contact information for the listed preschools. We make every effort to supply you with up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee each school’s capabilities. All information listed on preschools is subject to change without notice.Because selecting a preschool for your child is a personal decision, you should visit the schools to determine which you and your family feel is best for your child and your circumstances.

The time has arrived… there are 15,000 little rubber ducks ready to be adopted. They have trained for the race, and are ready to win you one of the many great available prizes! Each duck is also a chance at a $1 million cash prize. Every duck adopted will make a difference in the life of a child with special needs, as 100% of the proceeds from the Duck Derby benefit Children’s TLC.

What is the best way to adopt a duck? By dining at a restaurant in the KC Hopps family starting on May 27th! It’s a great way to kick off your long weekend… not only will you enjoy a delicious meal, you will be able to add your adoption right to your check. Your server will give you an adoption number that you register online*, and it’s as easy as that! Dine at any of these restaurants between May 27th and June 25th, 2011,  and be sure to tell your server that you want to adopt a duck.

2011 VBS locations in metro Kansas City

Posted May 06, 2011 8:47pm by Kiran

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is something that many families look forward to each summer.  Typically kids go for several hours a day for one week, kids enjoy being with their friends, playing games and even learning a thing or two–all in a safe environment.  Most VBS camps are very reasonable, at $20-$40 for the week.  Many churches even offer assistance or scholarships.

This is also a great opportunity for you to check out our extensive Preschool Directory! It’s not too late to get a spot in a fall preschool and we have links to many programs.  And, since we’re on the topic of Directories…now that it’s May…are you ready for summer?  There’s still time to get your kid(s) enrolled in a summer camp or class.  We have added lots of camps to the list since we published theSummer Camp Directory 2011 in March, so even if you’ve looked it over, it wouldn’t hurt to give it another go!  If your church or place of worship conducts a summer camp or bible school–let us know!  We’ll gladly include it if we’ve missed it!
