The Fresh Beat Band, Nickelodeon’s popular preschool music group and stars of the hit TV series of the same name, will hit the road in February 2012 for the first time ever on a 15-week, 50-city nationwide concert tour with a stopover in Kansas City on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 5pm. Thanks to our friends at AEG/Midland, we have 20 tickets to give away to 5 lucky winners! Each winner will receive a Family 4-pack of tickets. This is a good one- each ticket has a value of $37.50…you do the math!!

Kiki (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Shout (Thomas Hobson), Marina (Tara Perry), and Twist (Jon Beavers) will perform The Fresh Beat Band hits from seasons one, two and three of the live-action music series that teaches preschoolers about music appreciation and how to express their feelings through movement, song and instrumental music.

As promised, it’s another giveaway!  Tis the season, after all…and this prize screams “the season”!  Our friends at Kansas City Repertory Theatre have generously given us a Family Pack (2 adults and 2 children) of tickets to ANY upcoming performance of A Christmas Carol! There are performances running all the way up until December 26, 2011, and the lucky winner will get to choose any performance he/she would like to attend (based on availability, of course).

For more than three decades, the Rep’s enchanting holiday show has captured the true meaning of Christmas for many Kansas City families, who year after year are inspired by its strong family values and message of hope and redemption.  A Christmas Carol is being performed at Spencer Theatre -4949 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO 64110.
