Paradise Park in Lee’s Summit

It’s finally warming up outside! However, our unpredictable spring weather in KC is always a reminder that it’s in my best interest to take the kids to places that have indoor and outdoor activities. This way, we can have a great time without worrying so much about the weather…and maybe even catch some sunshine if the weather decides to cooperate. One of my favorite places to take the kids is Paradise Park in Lee’s Summit.

Indoors or out, I love that Paradise Park keeps my kids’ minds and bodies engaged in activities. Some of our family’s indoor favorites include the rock wall, and foam factory. The Discovery Play center is a favorite for my youngest child, and the older ones love laser tag, which has the added offering of indoor and outdoor space to run and play.

Outdoor activities include gem mining (my son can’t get enough of this one), batting cages, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and go karts. Plus, a host of seasonal activities, many of which are unique experiences you couldn’t find anywhere else. Some activities currently on Paradise Park’s calendar include Goat Yoga, Kids with Kids Playdates (see what I mean about unusual?), and a May the Fourth Be With You event, which takes an extra day to celebrate Star Wars on May 5.

We would love to hear where you like to go to keep the kids active during our bizarre spring weather. Post a note in the comments below to share your favorite playtime spots!
