KC Kids Fun friends!  It’s time for another giveaway.    Disney’s Phineas & Ferb: The Best LIVE Tour Ever! is Feb. 8 at the Independence Events Center. There are 2 Show times: 4:00pm & 7:00pm.

“Mom! Phineas and Ferb are going on a LIVE tour!!!”  School’s out for summer and anything is possible as Phineas and Ferb create their biggest invention yet- Disney’s Phineas and Ferb:  The Best LIVE Tour Ever! Phineas, Ferb, and the whole Tri-State Area gang embark on a bold escape jumping out from behind your TV and onto the stage in a live action adventure-right in your hometown! And, before you can wonder, “Hey, where’s Perry?” the beloved pet platypus shifts to his secret double life as Agent P to foil another one of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plans.  It’s the ultimate end to summer vacation, so seize the day ’cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!

    We always spend MLK Jr day watching videos /audio of his speeches and reading about him. We homeschool & we always use this day to kick off our Black History Month studies:)

    Over the weekend we will be hitting the scavenger hunt at the Kemper Museum and Friday we will be attending “Snow” at the Plaza Library. BOTH events we discovered on the kckidsfun website! On Monday the girls get to spend the day crafting with Grandma KK while their parents are at work.

    I know what we are going to do on MLK Day! Use the time machine from the museum and go back in time to see the “I Have a Dream” speech in person. ;) Well, if we were Phineas and Ferb, that is exactly what we would do! For our MLK Day, we will be using the extended weekend to travel and visit family. Sharing the day with the ones we love! :)

    My family and I are going to spend MLK Jr day anyway that our 4 year old son would like to. Both my husband and I work alot and do not get to spend as much quality family time together as we would like so when we both get days off such as MLK Jr day, we allow him to plan the day as a family :) My husband has to work the weekend before the Holiday so we typically just stay home and relax while he is working

    On our 3 day weekend we will visit the kids 100 yr old great great grandma, have a movie night complete with sleeping in a tent (inside the house of. course lol), and watching football!

    We will celebrate MLK through reading age appropriate books about him (they are 3 and 5) this weekend. However, we will enjoy our day off by going to the pool and possibly Crown Center. My son would love to see Phineas and Ferb, however!

    This year on MLK Day, mommy will be taking her good friend to the airport and since we just had twins born 3 mos ago, that’s about all we can manage. My older set of twins would love to create a tidal sequence at the Phineas and Ferb Live show…..

    My oldest son is epileptic and has had an increase in seizures. He has to have an EEG that afternoon. Prior to the EEG, the boys and I are going roller skating.

    I will be working that day, and my kiddo with be with his Grandparents. They plan to go to the library, to check out some local MLK events.

    That’s easy…celebrating Christmas with my family. Our oldest spent her entire Christmas break in the hospital so Christmas was delayed. Of course, we did what we could to celebrate in the hospital, but with one child at home and the other in the hospital we were unable to do it together.

    For the first time, I have a job where I get Martin Luther King Jr. day off with my two daughters! We’ll be going over my sister’s house (about an hour away) and helping her with her new baby. We’ll start it off though by sleeping in a bit late and make a girls only breakfast. No time schedules, so we should have fun!

    We spent the weekend having “Family Time”. I had to go back to work today, so they had to spend the day with Grandpa.

    Family Time included shopping for my son’s upcoming 6th Birthday on Saturday and getting my daughter a dress for the upcoming Father/Daughter dance.

    We went to the Rec Center and played a game of basketball and then went swimming.

    It was a beautiful weekend and I have to say the kids got along well and made it even better.
