LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas City Kicks Off LEGO® STAR WARS Days

The Clone Wars continue as clone troopers prepare to invade LEGOLAND® Discovery Center in Kansas City (at Crown Center) for the semi-annual LEGO® STAR WARS™ Days this weekend – September 29th and 30th!

“LEGO STAR WARS Days offers exciting and imaginative fun for the whole family,” says Jeremiah Boehr, LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s Master Model Builder. “It’s a great way to bring parents and their kids together.”

Young Padawans attending the event will experience the power of the Force through a number of activities, including:

· A meet and greet with members of the STAR WARS 501st Legion, a STAR WARS costume enthusiast group. They will they pose for photos and reenact light saber battles throughout the weekend. You never know who might make an appearance – could it be someone from the dark side or a Jedi warrior?
· Assisting the Model Builders in a LEGO STARS WARS mystery mural build
· Building your own LEGO STAR WARS creation in the Model Builder Workshop
· Witnessing an epic intergalactic battle as clone troopers and battle droid minifigures vie for control over MINILAND
· MINILAND Scavenger Hunt: Kansas City will be invaded by Imperial and Rebel forces! Using the clues in MINILAND, find the answer and you could win some great prizes!
· Prize and giveaways, while supplies last
