Very good!!!
My favorite memory from this summer was mid July my entire side of family came in town and the 10 cousins got to just hang out all weekend!
My favorite memory this summer has been seeing my husband graduate from law school, take the bar exam, and finally have all the time in the world to play with our 2-year-old son. They go on adventures, get dirty in the yard, sit on the porch and devour Popsicles and just have a great time together. The summer heat isn’t the only thing that’s been making me melt! :)
Going to seattle washington to spen time with my sister and family.
Our favorite memory was 4th of July at the Lake of the Ozarks! My 5 year old went tubing all by himself! And his little sister just turned 1 and went for her first boat ride. Both kids and mom and dad enjoyed it so much!
My favorite 2010 summertime activity was watching my 7 year old granddaughter go tubing at the lake for the first time. She just wanted to go faster and faster and you could see her smiling and laughing the whole time!!!
one of my favorite memories is seeing my 6 yr old son do a front flip of the diving board for the first time, the look in his eyes when had accomplished such a big thing to him, so now everytime we go to the pool thats the first thing he wants to do, and he still gets the same look of pride in his eyes
We spent a lot of our summer hanging out at Lee’s Summit Waves! They have a play time from 8:30-10:00 a.m. just for little kids!
My favorite memory is taking my son to the KC zoo. We got rained on, but we were pretty much the only people there. It was great!
My favorite memory this summer was spending every moment possible with my daughter Ava! She starts pre-k on monday!!
My favorite memory of this summer was watching my dad give my 2 year old son and 2 year old niece their very first golf lesson… He exercised quite a bit of patience with them! They sure came out with good forms and swings!
One of our favorite moments this summer was floating down the Pomme de terre river with the kids and some great friends. So quiet and peaceful; by the end of the day we looked back to find our 6 year old sound asleep in the intertube behind the canoe!
Our Favorite memory is traveling to Michigan to visit family and riding in Grandpa’s Model A car to get ice cream.
My favorite memory this summer is taking my children to World’s of Fun for the first time. They really enjoyed Camp Snoopy!
Spending time with the kids before my daughter starts kindergarten.
I enjoyed going to the MU campus with my daughter. She enjoyed going there and it was really neat!
We have just enjoyed spending time together as a family and letting the kids be kids before school starts again- which always comes too quickly!
My best memory has been watching my son really enjoy this summer, spending time with his friends. This is the last summer they will all be together. They will be starting Kindergarten soon, most of them have been in preschool together since they were a year old. They have really bonded together. I think he has made some great friends. We have spent time at Summit Waves, Paradise Park and doing many other things. It has been a lot of fun.
My favorite memory this summer was being my daughter’s Girl Scout leader for her summer camp. Eleven girls, wow! I loved that week! I would love to win these tickets we haven’t been able to do a whole lot this summer due to our extra money has gone to our lawyer to pay for my husband to adopt my older two kiddos. What a great hubby!
Going to Lake of the Ozarks with my husband and two kiddos-taking boat rides, playing in the pool, fishing and relaxing on the deck overlooking the water-so peaceful!
My favorite memory from Summer 2010 will be our helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. Pictures and videos do not do it justice, it is a sight you must see in person.
Best part of summer was having Fridays off to spend with my daughter at the pool. And celebrating her birthday week last month with parties & ending at Schlitterbahn’s. She had so much fun, said it was the “best” waterpark ever! Unfortunately I became ill & could not take her down the slides but her friends were there to accompany her. I just enjoyed watching her have a good time.
We spend alot of time at the lake during the summer. It is great for the kids to just “get away” from the city and enjoy nature.
I was able to go to New York for the first time ever. My kids and I went with my mom to visit family. It was special bc family made it happen for me. There is no way I could have afforded to do it as a single mother, a grad student, and currently without a steady income. I will forever be grateful for this!
Zona Rosa sprinkler park and Ice Cream for dinner with my three boys! It’s the simple things in life :-)
My son jumping in the waves on the beach for the first time.
Great Wolf Lodge and Sesame Place earlier this summer. The kids loved the waterparks!
KC Royals Sky Show!
My favorite moment this summer was seeing my son turn 10 and thinking wow I have a 10 year old I am so proud and thankful to have him. At his birthday he opened a new ripstick board that he had been wanting so badly and we kept telling him for weeks…well they are really expensive you know. So he didn’t think he had a chance at getting one, and when he opened it, wow was he happy!!!
This is the first summer I have not had to work, so it has been wonderful exploring KC and all it has to offer with my 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old boys! We’ve had the best summer going to swimming pools, Deanna Rose, Union Station, Crown Center, Moon Marble Company, The Berry Patch, etc.; and now we’re getting ready to send our 5 year old to kindergarten!
My favorite memory from this summer was spending time with my nieces & nephew…two sets of twins! We enjoyed swimming, eating ice cream, going to see Clifford the Big Red Dog at Crown Center, had a blast at Paradise Park, Fun Run, Jumping Jax & DeAnna Rose Farmstead. Times like these are certainly treasured! Next weekend we look forward to the Little Mr & Miss Parkville Pageant at the Parkville Riverfest & the Midwest Kids fest! :)
My favorite memory this summer is water play with my 6 year old in the backyard. All you need is a hose and some space and the good times are rolling!
My favorate summer memory was spening it with my 10yr old boy.And going swimming with all of my family.
Pick Me Pick ME!
My favorite memory was the Ice Cream Festival and Clifford the Dog all in the same day with my daughter
:) FUN!
Had a blast at the zoo with my kids!
My girls have not been there yet… would love to go!
Our favorite summer memory for 2010 is most certainly going home to Pennsylvania to visit family. We flew to Baltimore MD where we rented a car and drove the 170 miles to Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania with our beautiful daughters, Marra, 6 and Laina, 5. While there we drove to Pt. Pleasant, NJ where we spent the day at the beach. It was the girls’ first time seeing the ocean. The girls went on amusement rides on the boardwalk, played games, and real NY style Pizza! We visited with family and even got to meet our newest addition to the family, my brother’s daugther, she was born 4 days after we got there. We did a water hike at a beautiful state park, then drove back to Baltimore where we spent two nights at the Inner Harbor. This was our first family vacation in a long time and it was so worth the wait. Our family will remember it forever! Especially since we purchased disposable cameras for the girls to take their own pictures of the trip!! (:
My favorite memory of this summer was a late night boat ride… The moon was hidden that night a slight breeze and I saw two shooting stars!
I’ll list two….enjoying the sandy beach, seashells, and Atlantic Ocean; and my niece’s wedding — seeing all my nieces and nephews and my kids enjoying themselves together!
i hope i did not submit yet… but the best thing this summer was when my son saw the splash cove aquatic center in shawnee… he was the happiest little boy!!!
My favorite part of the summer was seeing my daughter performe with the Alvin Aley dance camp. The performance was so gracefull and my daughter worked very hard. I’m so proud of her!
Love to camp out and swim..mmmm smores :)
We went to St. Louis on a family vacation this year! Had a blast at the zoo, city park and (of course) the arch!
Putting my baby in her swing outside and listening to her giggle…barefoot and hair blowing in the wind =)
I am hoping my foundest memory will be at your water park! family fun, is always my best memories!
Spend time at the pools was our favorite summer activities so far
My favorite memory from this summer is spending my days entertaining my 2 and 3 year old. I am a teacher and so I always try to pack in fun and exciting things to do with my kiddos while I am on break. The ultimate experience of the summer was taking my two kids, with my sister-in-law and her 5 kiddos (two 7 year olds, 5, 21/2, and 1) to Chicago to spend time with my brother and his two kiddos (8, 5). Having all 9 cousins together, all 8yrs and under was a blast and hopefully the beginning of a summer annual trip!!!
My favorite summer memory is of my 4 yr old son — he learned to swim by himself this summer!!! So fun and he even goes down the big water slides at the pools all by himself. My self, my husband and 10 month old son love going to the pool so we can watch him get better and better. It is so fun to watch how fast they pick things up and grow each time.
