Dinosaurs! Tomorrow!

In case you missed Kate’s post about Dinosaurs Unearthed at KC’s Union Station–it’s worth reading!  The exhibit opens tomorrow, May 1, 2010 and is going to be phenomenal.  We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak into the setup and trust me, the kids (and adults) are going to LOVE it.  You won’t want to miss out on these life-sized animatronic dinosaur replicas.  There was also a neat depiction of an actual fossil dig site that was found in China. I think this is going to rival Dead Sea Scrolls in terms of popularity…and will really drive lots of visitors to our Union Station this summer!

Tickets are $13.50 for adults (age 13 and up); $9.50 for kids (3 to 12) – lower rates for seniors, military, college students and groups. Another interesting way to save is a Union Station membership – save on tickets to Dinosaurs Unearthed and other Union Station exhibits and shows as well as unlimited visits to Science City and the Planetarium all year! Another perk of membership is free or discounted admission to over 290 museums across the U.S. (including the St. Louis Science Center, the Omaha Children’s Museum and a lot of great museums in Chicago).
