Fun and FREE in KC: 7/17/09-7/26/09
As the weekend nears, I thought I’d do a quick rundown of what’s going on in the metro. And not only is it going on, but it’s going on for FREE! Aside from running through the sprinkler (a favorite at our house), there are some really fun things to do on the cheap.

- Sprint Family Fun Days in the Power & Light District, KCMO – 12pm to 4pm – games, crafts, activities and Radio Disney! July’s theme is “Scien-tastic: The Fun of Science.” Your family will experience first-hand how fun science can be as they interact with other kids and instructors to make wax hands, slime, super balls, climb a velcro wall and watch a fire and ice explosion show and “Up, up and Away,” a cool hoverboard show! - FREE!
- North Kansas City Public Library hosts Movie Day, featuring the Disney movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua at 1:00 pm. Watch the movie on the library’s big screen and enjoy free popcorn.
