My older two kids and I saw Disney on Ice: Mickey & Minnie’s Magical Journey at Kemper Arena (in Kansas City, MO) tonight. They had a ball. Laughing, clapping and singing until the very end.
The show was just about two hours long (which was about a half hour too long for the toddler sitting in the row behind us, unfortunately). The first half featured the Lion King, Lilo & Stitch and the Little Mermaid. The second half was all Peter Pan and Tinkerbell and pirates!
My seven-year-old son loved Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa. My six-year-old loved Ariel. And I enjoyed Peter Pan – always my favorite. We even stayed for about 15 minutes afterwards for a “behind the scenes” presentation by a few of the skaters.
And you still have time to go see the show too! There are three shows on Saturday, April 4 (11am, 3pm and 7pm) and two shows on Sunday, April 5 (1pm and 5pm). Tickets are pretty affordable and it will be great fun on a blustery and/or cold spring day!
