Yoga for kids? YES! Yoga for kids right here in Kansas City! The Zen Zone is a yoga studio in Lee’s Summit which offers classes for everyone in the whole family. Literally, EVERYONE! There are baby and mommy classes, toddler classes on up to the over 9 crowd. There are even family classes and adults only classes. After cruising through The Zen Zone website, I get the distinct impression that this is yoga like we’ve never seen it before. Yoga poses, puppets, animal sounds, songs for the younger crowd – phasing into more traditional yoga goals like breathing, relaxation and core strength as the kids get older.
The Zen Zone is located at 413 NW Murray Road in Lee’s Summit, MO. And they are having a FREE Family Yoga Class on Saturday, May 10th at noon for ages 4 and over. Check it out and then let us know what you thought!
