It would be great if you would include any local camps for ADHD/ODD disorders; we are looking for something local instead of traveling out of state. Please help if you can!

My church, Legacy Christian Church at 101st & Antioch has a special needs ministry for kids. There is a parents’ night out for parents of special needs kids on the first Saturday of each month from 5:30-8:30. You will need to register. There is also a “special buddy” that will be with each child at the PNO and at church on Sunday mornings if you call! Both are wonderful!

I am interested in the camps that Kate sent Kristine in a private e-mail. My child is also ADHD/ODD and I have been looking for a camp that might benefit her. We live in OKC but would be willing to travel a short distance for a good camp.

Hi everyone! We are working on our 2009 Camp Directory and will publishing it in the next few weeks. I looked back at my email to Kristine and saw that I didn’t really suggest anything beyond what is listed here. I know that this is an area of great need in KC – so we are working very hard to create a good list for 2009 – stay tuned!
