This is really terrific for all you moms with kids in t-ball, baseball or softball…and for all you dads wanting to relive your glory days! There are several new and renovated batting cages located off of 137th Street, in between Switzer and Antioch in south Overland Park, at the Blue Valley Recreation Complex. Altogether, there are 3 slow pitch softball, 3 fast pitch softball, 1 combo and 6 baseball cages. The best part is that ALL MACHINES RUN ON QUARTERS! No more tokens to lose and confuse. Batter up!

The BVRC website (linked above) says the batting cage hours are linked to game times at the recreation complex. You’ll need to call 685-6030 for specifics.
